Conversion of barn to holiday cottage
The Barn is situated in the client's garden and being underused as a workshop, the client believed he could achieve a rental income out of it if it was converted into a cottage. The work brought the building up to modern standards of insulation within the existing stone shell and as a result needs only a very low level of electrical heating. The property is now available for letting and is indeed bringing in an income already.
